Artist’s Bio:
Ed Arribas
After retiring from his
automation control business, now has time to explore and develop his unique artistic styles. He enjoys working in many mediums such as watercolor, pottery, stained glass , silver jewelry making, linoleum and wood prints, batik, drawing photography and multimedia art. He is a member of SCAN ( the Society of Creative Arts ) in Newtown ct. and The Hamden art league. and continues his education through the classes that they offer and with other classes that artists offer. At the moment he is a student of well known local artist Katushka Millinos. He was a featured artist in Milford CT at Gallery 25 in 2022 and a featured artist at the Ridgebury meeting house in 2023 . Ed was also accepted at many Roxbury Reginal Juried Art shows. Along with entering art shows, he founded a fundraiser for Ukraine in 2022 where local artists donated their paintings that were sold at Art & Frame in Newtown Ct. and other SCAN shows. All proceeds were donated to Jose Andres World Kitchen to help feed the people of Ukraine and it still continues through SCAN.
