53rd Annual Mark Twain Library Art Show
Artist’s Bio:
Beth Bailey draws inspiration from the natural world, the shifting play of light, and the expressive energy of color. She feels most grounded outdoors, capturing moments when nature shimmers at its most luminous. Her work is a joyful exploration of color and light—always a celebration of their movement, emotion, and vitality.
A longtime resident of Redding, Beth has been an art teacher at Joel Barlow High School since 1998. She holds a Master’s Degree in Art Education and a second Master’s in Integrative Health and Healing. Recently, her creative practice has centered on ceramics, made in her backyard studio, The Mud Shack—which is every bit as down-to-earth as it sounds.
When not teaching, creating, or spending time with her family, Beth enjoys hiking, swimming, dancing, cooking, and reading.
