Artist’s Bio:
Suzanne enjoyed a successful career as Creative Director in NYC at top agencies including McCann, JWT, and The Publicis Groupe, where she created award-winning campaigns for world-class brands. She began her advertising career while attending night classes at the School of Visual Arts for design and copywriting. Years later, she became a partner at the marketing firm Ryan Partnership in Westport, CT, where she helped build and grow the creative department.
Driven by a lifelong love of creative endeavors, in 2019, Suzanne began to pursue her passion for still life and landscape oil painting. She now paints daily, attends ongoing workshops, and studies with nationally acclaimed artists. Her mentor and private instructor is master painter Stephanie Birdsall.
Suzanne considers herself a representational painter, painting from life and plein air whenever possible. Her works have been exhibited and sold in Rhode Island, Orleans, MA, The Newburyport Arts Center, New Canaan, CT Society of the Arts’ Carriage Barn Gallery, The Mark Twain Library in Redding, CT, Rowayton Arts Center, Yellow Studio in Cross River, NY, Weston, CT Commission for the Arts, and Ridgefield Guild of Artists. Many of her works have found homes in private collections across the country, from California to Cape Cod.
