Description
53rd Annual Mark Twain Library Art Show
Artist’s Bio:
The medium I work with is stone, collected from all over the world, encompassed in a shadowbox frame. When I initiate my work, I focus on the color, shape and texture of the principal stone. Next I aspire to enhance its natural beauty with smaller stones of varied shapes and colors, leather, bones and feathers. I have been working with stone for the last 48 years, first in jewelry, then sculpted wall reliefs. My work has been exhibited locally in Connecticut and New York. I am also part of private collections in New Mexico, Colorado, Michigan and Connecticut.
