53rd Annual Mark Twain Library Art Show
Artist’s Bio:
Originally from Texas, I studied painting in Michigan before moving to New York for a residency and later settling in New England. My latest group of paintings, “In Place of Words,” began after my father passed away last December, when I received a bouquet. Grief was the catalyst, but painting was how the grief took form. The work reflects on impermanence and the quiet resonance of loss, exploring how form, color, and gesture can hold emotion without illustrating it.
