Artist’s Bio:
Grace Mehan DeVito
Grace Mehan DeVito loves to paint !
Grace graduated from The School of Visual Arts and started her career as an illustrator
working for clients like Pepsico, Sony, Random House, The United Nations and many
other notable companies. Wanting to be a “real” painter she turned to portraiture and fine
art painting. She has painted many top business, legal, education, and medical leaders
from all over the nation as well as family and children’s portraits.
Grace was a finalist in The New Salem Museum of Art’s Purchase Competition
2025. She has made the Select 30 finalists in the International Portrait Competition
twice. She was an invited artist in the first Grand Central Atelier’s Still Life
Competition and in the Inspiring Figures Show at The Butler Institute Of
American Art, Youngstown OH. She is the recipient of many awards including the
Portrait Society of America’s First place Still Life and first place Commissioned
Portraits, Members Only Competition. She received The Award of Excellence for
Realism at The Oil Painters of America’s Eastern Regional Exhibition as well as
numerous Still Life awards, The 2018 Joseph Hartley Award, The David Leffel
Award For Excellence in Painting, Best in Show as well as 3rd Place, and the 6th
Annual Plein Air Competition Best Floral in Studio .
Grace has attained Signature Status with The Portrait Society of America
She is represented Exclusively by Portraits Inc for portrait commissions.
Galleries include Susan Powell Fine Art in Madison CT, Beverly McNeil in
Birmingham AL, and Anderson Fine Art, St. Simon’s Island GA.
