Artist’s Bio:

An artist all my life, my work is deeply rooted in my love of the ocean and being surrouded by nature. I’ve created pots in clay, jewelry in silver, quilts in cloth, drawings in ink, paintings in oil. I am an art director, graphic designer and serial house “rehaber”.
The medium changes, but the need to create has remained very strong throughout my entire life. I have been selling and exhibiting my award winning work since the early 80’s. I’ve have had several one-woman shows and participated in many juried art shows, including the prestigious Art of the Northeast USA Silvermine. The opportunity to have a studio as Artist in Residence Norwalk, CT, really encouraged me to expanded my creative vision. It allowed me to pursue additional medium and to create works on a large scale.
A native of Norwalk, CT, I attended the University of Connecticut School of Fine Arts
and have also completed programs in Interior Design at Sacred Heart and
Graphic Design at Fairfield University. As a child, I learned about clay and glazes with Alice Rosenthal.
I have studied painting with Arlene Skutch, Westport, CT and David Dunlop,
New Canaan, CT.
I maintain a studio in Danbury, CT.
