Artist’s Bio:
CARA FORGIONE
An Easton, CT, resident for more than 28 years, Cara Forgione has been a lifelong artist and hands-on creator. Her current artistic pursuits involve saved and salvaged scraps of printed paper, tissue paper, calendar graphics, metallic & seagrass wallcovering, oil and acrylic paint. Working in the studio and occasionally en plein air, Forgione merges her love of texture, color and nature to create moody landscapes and abstract designs.
Forgione spent the majority of her work life in the magazine publishing industry and more recently in the interior design world. She takes joy in turning pretty papers, wallpapers, printed materials and other recyclables into her art.
“Reduce Reuse Recycle” and “Keep Creating” are two of her favorite mantras.
