Artist’s Bio:
Tarryl Gabel was born and raised on a cattle ranch on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in North Dakota. She has lived the last thirty plus years in the beautiful Hudson Valley in New York. Tarryl prefers to paint plein air whenever possible, but also paints still life, wildlife and western themed paintings when she cannot be outdoors. She is proud to have been voted by readers of the Hudson Valley Magazine, as “Best Artist” in their annual “Best of the Hudson Valley” five times to date. She has won awards regionally as well as being a winner in numerous National Competitions including Paint the Parks and Paint America Top 100. Tarryl’s most coveted award was titled: “Worthy of the Met” from judge David C. Levy at Plein Air Easton, the largest and most prestigious plein air event in the Country. Her work is in many private and corporate collections nationally and abroad.
