Artist’s Bio:
Born in southern Appalachia in 1960, Connecticut artist and architect Harrison Gill comes from a family with a rich history of visual design. He has been drawing and sketching since childhood. He studied at the University of Virginia, London’s Architectural Association and the New Shcool, establishing his own architectural firm in partnership with his wife while still in his twenties. Mr. Gill is father of five, a successful Appalachian Trail Thru-hiker, a life-long sailboat racer, and an owner of two remarkable Border Collies. He has designed award-winning houses and preservation projects throughout the northeast. His focus in recent years has turned increasingly to printmaking and watercolor – a medium with which he has worked every day for several years.
