Artist’s Bio:
Amanda Lynne is an award-winning New York painter and mixed media artist. She holds a BFA from Pratt Institute, and an MFA from The College of New Rochelle. She has studied internationally in Rome, Italy.
In 2023 Amanda was artist-in-residence at the David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center at Pocantico, Tarrytown, NY.
In 2022 and 2023, Amanda created a series of 19 mixed media pieces entitled Wildlife, depicting endangered wild animals. She pledged to donate 25% of sales to wildlife conservation. To date, she has contributed $900 to protect endangered species from the sales of nine of these works.
Amanda shows extensively in both solo and group exhibitions in New York and Connecticut. Her work can be found in private collections throughout the United States.
Amanda’s public art experience includes an outdoor mural at the Kent Art Association, Kent, CT, and the Rye’s Above Butterfly project for two consecutive years.
Amanda is the curator of the Kent, NY Public Library Art Gallery.
