Artist’s Bio:
Honi Papernik is a CT artist working in mixed media collage.
She focuses on the sensory overload of images, messages and symbols that bombard us daily.
Layers of paper, torn bits of twisted text, and found objects allow the viewer to experience how all of this stimuli affects our inner landscape.
She was born in the Bronx And attended Lehman College. She has a BA in psychology and art.
Honi is a lifelong collector of modern and contemporary ephemera. Technical diagrams figure largely in her work.
