Artist’s Bio:
I’m an artist based in Scarsdale, New York. My work draws on a blend of global experiences, each piece reflecting the cultures and stories that have shaped my perspective. I’ve exhibited in several art fairs and group shows, sharing a journey that began in the vibrant landscapes of India, where color, texture, and local art first sparked my lifelong love for painting and sketching.
The paintings submitted here are a part of my ‘Aura’ series, a collection that is inspired by the colorful patchwork embroidery of western India. This series captures the essence of womanhood, exploring how a woman’s presence and inherent aura profoundly influence her surroundings. In these works, the background seamlessly blends with the figure, illustrating how she is intrinsically connected to her environment. Her essence permeates the air she breathes and the world she inhabits, showcasing the powerful interplay between her inner being and the external world.
