Artist’s Bio:
Linda Pickwick has always had an interest in art. As a young person she enjoyed drawing portraits. After marrying and starting a family she became interested in decorative arts from the 1800’s. She tried her hand at Theorem
painting ,and painting on wood and tin. She became a member of the National Society of Decorative painting and soon began to paint in acrylics on. canvas. Eventually she began to take watercolor classes under the tutelage of Carol Hubbard of Monroe. Carol was the person who encouraged her to continue with watercolors and to enter her work in local art shows. She has won various awards in local shows and continues to share her work in both watercolor and. acrylics.
