Artist’s Bio:

Shelly Ramsay is an artist residing in Westport, CT. After spending 25 years as a marketing professional, she turned her focus to creating art. Primarily self-taught, she has been making art throughout her life and has studied at The Washington Studio School and Silvermine Arts Center, among others. Shelly works in printmaking, painting, and mixed media. She is a member of the Monotype Guild of New England, the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Carriage Barns Arts Center, Greenwich Art Society, and the Ridgefield Guild of Artists. Most recently, Shelly’s work was included in juried exhibitions at Bendheim Gallery, Greenwich, CT; Maryland Federation of Arts, Annapolis, MD; Prince Street Gallery, New York, NY; Adams County Arts Council Juried Exhibition, Gettysburg, PA; Spectrum Spring Fever, New Canaan, CT; Mark Twain Library, Redding, CT; The Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Norwalk, CT (solo show).
