Artist’s Bio:
Christine (Mira) Vitarello is a Ridgefield, Connecticut-based visual artist working primarily in soft pastels, supplemented by exploration in oil, acrylic, watercolor, printmaking and collage. She creates emotive portraits, landscapes, and still lifes, inspired by daily surroundings and cherished
moments. Her dedicated home studio supports daily painting sessions. An award-winning artist and a signature member of the Connecticut Pastel Society, Vitarello has sold her work internationally. She holds a BFA from
Pratt Institute and an MA in Art Education from the College of Rochelle. Beyond creation, she is a workshop designer for artists, lecturer for national art educators, focusing on the mentorship and training of art educators.
