BRIAN K. WEST
Bio
Brian K. West is a classical realist artist living in Easton, Connecticut. He received his BFA from Cornell University and later graduated from the core program at Grand Central Atelier studying under Jacob Collins. His work is varied, encompassing still life, portraiture, landscape and maritime paintings. He attended the Hudson River Fellowship in both New Hampshire and Connecticut. West has shown in galleries throughout the United States and his work is in private collections both in the U.S. and abroad. He is a member of the Oil Painters of America as well as the Salmagundi Club in New York City. Along with painting, Brian also has passions for the
outdoors, sports, and traveling around the world with his wife and son…he also enjoys whisky and a good pipe or cigar.
